1. How do I register for an account?

To participate in our auctions, you need to register for an account. Click on the “Register/Log-in” button on the homepage, fill in your details, and verify your email address.

 

2. How do I place a bid?

Once registered, browse the items you’re interested in. Click on the item to view details and place your bid. Enter your bid amount and confirm. You can also set a maximum bid, and the system will automatically bid on your behalf up to that amount.

 

3. What is the reserve price?

A reserve price is the minimum amount the seller is willing to accept for an item. If the bidding does not each this price, the item will not be sold.

 

4. How do I know if I’ve won an auction?

You will receive an email notification if you are the highest bidder when the auction ends. You can also check your account dashboard for updates.

 

5. What payment methods are accepted?

We accept various payment methods, including cash, check, credit and debit cards (4% fee applies), Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal. Payment details will be provided in the winning bid notification.

 

6. How do I pay for an item I won?

We accept payment at pickup. Please refer to the specific auction for pickup dates for that auction.

 

7. Can I retract a bid?

Bids are binding and cannot be retracted. Please bid responsibly and only on items you intend to purchase.

 

8. What happens if I don’t pay for an item I won?

Failure to pay for a won item may result in account suspension or a ban from future auctions.

 

9. How are items shipped?

Shipping is available on smaller items for an additional fee. We always use the most economical means to ship and charge the actual shipping cost plus a modest fee to cover materials and handling.

 

10. Can I return an item?

We do not accept returns. All items are sold “as is, where is” with no warranty. Sales are final. BPC Auctions makes no claims or warranties regarding value or suitability for any purpose. Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before bidding.

12. Are there any fees for using the auction site?

There are no fees to use the site, however, we charge a commission for each item sold. Additional fees, such as taxes, and credit card fees, may also apply.
